When we first thought about Moncoffee, was during a rainy afternoon hanging out at a friends house, having a cup of freshly brewed coffee, and the chat we were having became deeper and deeper. The intimate conversation about our golden bean made us realize how lucky we are because we own it and its part of all of us.
Our local traditions and family time is always accompanied by a cup of coffee, and we have remained that way for several generations.
All Costa Rican families know that our coffee is prime, and it’s well-recognized worldwide by the best and demanding coffee drinkers. This puts us on the top with the best, in this competitive market.
The next step in our process was realizing that locally not everybody was having the opportunity to enjoy a good cup of coffee, despite the need to have one, and at that point we made a conscious decision to open a local coffee shop, with the objective of sharing our coffee (Moncoffee) with others, to make our coffee your coffee.
But that didn’t happen overnight , because in order to serve our coffee lovers with quality, we had to dive in a new world, and search for the best coffee all over our country, forcing us to go beyond what we had expected , and opening ourselves to a new experience getting to know more and more about it, to the extent that solid and good relationship has developed with the farmers and coffee lovers.
Our coffee knowledge has grown, but most importantly our appreciation for the work that all farmers do day in and day out for us get the best quality coffee.
And working with the micro-lots has is our commitment and our way to give back, guaranteeing fair trade, and full traceability of the coffee bean.
And know with everybody we share years of traditions, the feel of a country, and our coffee bean, In One Sip!.
We are bound to take it anywhere beyond our borders, making it our mission to share Moncoffee with the entire world especially with the passionate coffee community.
